B-WISER Science Camp for Girls
B-Wiser is an overnight science camp for middle school girls in Ohio interested in STEM. Current 7th and 8th grade girls (including all students who identify as a girl/female in any way) may apply. Camp will run June 18-23 at the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. Check out their website here for more information.

Classroom Antics: STEAM Camps
Classroom Antics is offering multiple weeks of exciting STEM-focused summer camps throughout the Columbus area, including right here in Worthington. These in-person camps are designed for kids and teens ages 6-14. Check out their website here for those options.
CPA Camp
This all-expenses-paid (!) career development program is designed specifically for underrepresented high school students including, but not limited to those who identify as: having a disability, LGBTQ+, students of color, and the first in their family to attend college. This is for rising 9th - 12th graders. Check out the details here.
DACC Summer Camps
Delaware Area Career Center (DACC) is excited to offer summer camps to middle schoolers this summer. Camps will run from June 6th - June 8th, from 9 am - 2pm, and only cost $30. Check out their offerings and details here!
David Vogel Boys Basketball Camp
The David Vogel Boys Basketball Camp at Ohio Wesleyen University provides a fun experience for boys grades 3-8, and teachers skills to help them improve their basketball abilities. Camp runs June 19th - 22nd. Session 1 3rd - 5th grade (9am-12pm). Session 2: 6th - 8th grade (1pm-4pm). Check out the link here for more information.
Ohio State Global Camp
Ohio State's Intercultural Competence for Global Citizenship Summer Camp is open to middle school students (rising 6th through 8th graders). It will run June 5th-9th, 2023 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Ohio State. The cost is $100, and $50 fir any additional sibling. Scholarships are available. Ohio State Philosophy and Critical Thinking Summer Camp
This camp is open to any student who will be in high school during the 2023-2024 school year. The 2023 camp theme is Philosophy and Artificial Intelligence. Visit their website to get more information.
Summer Speed Reading in Worthington
Advanced Reading Concepts is offering Speed Reading Plus™ Study Skills again in Worthington this summer. The course is $375, with a $25 discount for multiple enrollments from the same family . This course has been offered in other area summer programs for over 35 years. It is designed to equally benefit weak readers who have difficulty keeping up or lack confidence and excellent readers who want the competitive edge for their future education and career. The course will also be of special interest to those who want to improve their reading speed and comprehension scores on the ACT, SAT, and OGT. Graduates will be able to keep up with their AP and CCP courses and balance study with extra-curricular activities. The students learn techniques to increase reading speed, comprehension, concentration, and retention, along with written recall methods helpful in organizing notes for finals, reports, and presentations. For those entering 7th grade through graduating seniors. Class size is limited to the first sixteen prepaid enrollments.

Thurber House Summer Camp
Columbus' Thurber House offers a summer camp for rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders, with a focus on writing. "From a creative, visual scavenger hunt in the park to powerful poetry activities to writing your own rant, you will cover all types of writing and find inspiration everywhere this week. You’ll recognize some of our favorite returning teachers and meet new ones as they inspire and encourage you to think outside the box and get your ideas on paper." The camp is offered for several weeks: June 5-9; June 12-16; June 19-23; and June 26-30. Camp runs from 9 am - 4 pm. Tuition is $300 (including $25 registration fee).
